Arthur Denton “Art”
On Sunday, September 1, 2019, Art passed away peacefully, at Regina Gardens at the age of 92. He is predeceased by his loving wife Ruth (2016), his daughter Mary Francey (2019), and his grandson Kevin (1974). He will be remembered fondly by his daughter Lynda (Ed) Avolio and son-in-law Ken Francey, grandchildren Brian (Sarah) Avolio and Lauren (Gordon) Robert and great-grandchildren Cecilia, Nicholas and Dominic. Special thanks to all the very hardworking staff of Mohawk Trail, at Regina Gardens for providing great care and comfort, over the past year. Art retired for “The Spec” after over 45 years of service. He has been able to enjoy a retirement of golf, and travel. Cremation has taken place. A visitation with family will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Sunday, September 8th from 2-4pm. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Bob Kemp Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
