After a lengthy illness and courageous battle, Doug left us on July 10, 2019. Predeceased by his parents, Donna and William Cockman, big brother, Donny V and infant sister Patricia. He leaves behind his 'partner in crime', Theresa Tame and her family. Survived by siblings Margaret Graham (Verne, deceased), Mary Hudecki (Bern), Judith Cockman, Arthur Cockman (Jane Hill) and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. In his youth Doug was a bass player and a strong-armed quarter-back. He was a proud member of IATSE for 25 years and loved being part of the show-business crew in the rafters, on the spotlight and rubbing elbows with the stars. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 7 East Ave.,South on Monday, July 15th from 6-8 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated by the family.
