It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Daly on May 31, 2019 at Juravinski Hospital at the age of 77. He will be greatly missed by his children Laryssa (Scott) and Suzanne (Patrick). Proud grandfather of Colin, Liam, Chloe, Amanda, Andrew, Rebecca, and Amy. Great-grandfather of Kylie. He is survived by his brother Alan (Eve), and two nieces. John will also be missed by his friends Jim and Evelyn, as well as his cat Sable. John was retired from Stelco after 39 years. He was a lover of golf and formula 1 racing. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Ave.) on Thursday, June 6, 2019 and Friday, June 7, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. with a Chapel Service to follow at 1 p.m. If desired, donations to the CNIB and JDRF would be appreciated by his family.
