Gallant, Marion R. (nee Montague) born on June 9th, 1926 peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 25th at the age of 92 years. Loving wife of Cedric (Dick) Gallant of 61 years of marriage this year. Loving mother of Michelle Hudson (Brian) and Paul (Carol), the late Arlene Drewniak (2008) (John), and Richard Gallant (1984). Adored Gramma of Kathleen, Dennis, Nicole, Marcel, Steven, the late Daniel (2017) and Madeline. Dear sister of Helen Bokros and sister-in-law of Bernie, Monica and Yvonne. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings, Ray (Monica), Leo (Monica), Nick (Noreen), Madelene (Eddie), Marguerite (Chuck), Joe (Barbara), Eugene (Audrey), Gerald (Bernie), and Helen Laslo and in-laws Zenon (Beatrice), Henry, Gus (Dorothy), Rita (Harry), Eileen, John (Kitty), Jerry (Muriel), Adrian (Yvonne), and Albert (Eileen). Marion and Dick shared a family of many relatives and friends who will cherish fond memories of time together at their home and at their cottage in P.E.I. Marion inspired many with her love and fun for life and her devotion to her family will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 7 East Avenue S, Hamilton on Monday, May 27th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Prayer will be offered at 8:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church 440 King St E on Tuesday, May 28th at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
