Buist, Robert Andrew
Passed away peacefully in his 95th year. Beloved and devoted husband of the late Audrey (nee Hickey) for 53 years. Together they left a powerful and lasting legacy of love, caring and devotion to family with all their children. Michael (Pat), Richard (Janet), Larry (Mirella), Barb (Jim) LeBlanc, Lorraine (Tony) Fidani. Precious Grandad to 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was a proud supporter at many of the kids sporting events. He retired from CNR rail as a Train Engineer after 42 years. He enjoyed playing cards and was still shooting pool in the Association snooker league. He leaves behind his second wife Shirley Ruth Buist whom he was married to for 19 years. Survived by his brother Alec (Mary), sister Marg Hutton. He is predeceased by 7 other siblings. He will be deeply missed but he has left the best part of himself deeply embedded in all our hearts forever. Donations to C A P. Or a charity of your choice. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Corpus Christi Church on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at 10 am. Interment to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at Michelangelo's Banquet
