D’ENTREMONT, Genevieve “Gen”
Surrounded by family, Gen quietly passed away at Extendicare Hamilton on Monday, December 3, 2018 in her 93rd year. She was the beloved wife of the late Hubert “Hughie” for 61 years. Cherished mother to Susan (Larry Riley), B.J. (Dave Johnston), and Lisa (Hal King). Loving grandmother to Kevin, Heather (Lorne), Krista (Shawn), Michelle (Nick), Joah, Ryan (Tsega), Sean (Amanda), Shanna, and Ryan. Great-grandmother to Payton, Alyssa, Carter, Cassidy, Layla, and Ethan. Predeceased by her loving siblings Jerry (Anne), Adele (Bill), and Frank. Survived by her sister-in-law Theresa. Gen worked at St. Thomas Moore High School for over a decade. She also lived and enjoyed an active lifestyle at St. Elizabeth Village.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Ave.) on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 12-1p.m. with a Chapel Service to follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
