It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carmela Rubini on August 26, 2018 at the Juravinski Hospital in her 82nd year. Beloved wife for 46 years to Antonio. Loving mother of Teresa and Giulio. Dear sister of Maria Spina of Hamilton and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews in Italy and Canada. Carmela will be lovingly remembered for her love of sewing, gardening, and cooking. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Thursday, August 30th from 6-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, August 31st at 11am. Burial to take place at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www.dermodys.com
