Peacefully in her 82nd year, Edith Emery passed away on Friday May 1, 2015. Wife of Russell Emery. Loving mother to Diane Ricci, David, and Greg Emery. Grandmother to Steven, Montgomery, Veronica, Miriam, Nathan, and Curtis. Mother-in-law to Brian, Joanna, and Nancy. Edie will be missed and remembered for her positive outlook and selflessness. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 796 Upper Gage Ave (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 6-9 p.m with prayers at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Regina Mundi Catholic Church (631 Mohawk Rd W.) on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow to Resurrection Cemetery (254 Garner Rd W, Ancaster). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society.
