Kinrade, William Edward

Passed away on September 30, 2018 surrounded by his family at the age of 85. Predeceased by his loving wife Helga of 61 years. Cherished father of Charmaine Kirk (Graham), Daniel Kinrade (Barb), Ramona Dechert (Ken), and Thomas Kinrade. Proud grandfather of William and Ronza. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Patrick (1960) and Laurette (2009), and sister Donna (2008).
William was a very loved Dad. He retired from the Brewer’s Retail after 36 years. Dad liked playing cards and other games, watching sports, fishing, bowling, gardening and attending family functions. He loved his wife, his family, home, pets, and enjoyed many lasting friendships over the years. Dad was always social, friendly and fun. He was a hard worker, moral, kind and a generous person who was religious and read the Lord’s teachings every day.
Special thanks to the medical staff for the cancer treatment and care he received in his last year, at home through CCAC and in his final week at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice.
Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church (305 E 37th St, Hamilton) on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
