Welton, Lola Melda

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lola Melda Welton, on February 20, 2018, in her 89th year. Lola is predeceased by her husband Owen Watson, and her sister Norma Gilbert (P.E.I.). Survived by her sister Joan Baines (St. Thomas), as well as her sons, Wayne (Denise Cahill), Blair (Nancy Nardini), and Mark (Linda). Lola will be missed by her grandchildren Cory Saxon, Shelly Welton and Amanda Welton, as well as her step granddaughters, Candice and Holly Cahill. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, February 23rd at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial to take place at Woodland Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Peter’s Hospital, 88 Maplewood Avenue, Hamilton, L8M 1W9, would be appreciated by the family.
