Obituary for Franklin Norman Edge
Edge, Franklin
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on December 30, 2015 in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his loving wife Elise. Beloved father of Jeff (Maureen), Jason (Christina), Terri, and the late Nancy (1955). Devoted Grandpa of Victoria, Emeline, Rebecca, Paul, Greg, and Eric. Franklin was a successful founder and proprietor of Edge’s Roofing Company, founded in 1950, and spent many summers at Lake Erie fishing and golfing, and spent the winter enjoying his passion for cars and Myrtle Beach. A special thanks to Dr. Tuddle and staff at Dundurn Place Care Centre. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 7 East Ave., South on Monday, January 4th from 7-9pm. Prayers will be said on Monday at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church (440 King St E) on Tuesday, January 5th at 10am. Interment will follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission Services or OFCP would be appreciated by the family.
